The sending out of Campaigns has become a science, and requires constant monitoring and real time adjustment to minimise fall out. Here at SendReach we have slightly different approaches to other ESPs, and are right up there with ground breaking technology and systems.
It is also necessary however that we all use basic common sense and logic and become pro-active in our general approach as Email Marketers.
All our top Users (regularly getting 30% and up to 50% Opens) have their new subscribers add the “Send Email Address” to their Contact List, which effectively “whitelists” that address, ensuring that future communications will hit the inbox. It is becoming obvious that the Gmails of this world are attempting to second guess their Email Users in terms of what the User wants to see in their Inbox. This can easily result in perfectly innocuous market emails being routed to the spam folder.
The User therefore has to become pro-active and label any emails routed to the spam folder from us by opening them and clicking on “Not Spam” or marking them as “Safe” or “Important” depending on what email client they are using.
Aternatively in the case of Google this message may be displayed – the screen shot below shows the solution.
This is what is being achieved by one SendReach User Opens Clicks
Just imagine what rates like those would do for your business!
On your Landing Page (the one you set as the re-direct in List > Pages) the message should read something like “Welcome to abc.com (your Company or List Name) and thank you for requesting information. You will receive an email at any moment with the Subject line – “Welcome to abc.com” (should include your Name or Company name or List name) carrying further important information, please look out for it, and if not seen within 5 minutes please check your various email folders. If not in your Inbox, please mark as “Not Spam”. To ensure you receive all our future communications please add firstname.lastname@example.org (your “Send Email Address”) to your Contact List as by so doing you ensure future emails arrive as intended”. (See a SendReach User’s successful one below)
Your first Autoresponse, set to go out with no delay should carry a simple message, something like “Welcome to abc.com (your Company or List Name) and thank you for requesting information – to ensure you receive all our future communications please add email@example.com (your “Send Email Address” to your Contact List as by so doing you ensure future emails arrive in your Inbox. If this email landed in your spam folder please click on “Not Spam” or “Safe / Important”.
Your Landing Page is the ONE chance you have to be CERTAIN of getting your message across as it opens 100% of the time.
We should all be aware that when you have your new Subscriber do that, and most do when requested to do so, it has a huge and cumulative effect, as the higher the percentage that inbox, so the reputation of both SendReach and your Sending Email Address improves with the ISPs, BlackLists and Spam Filters and they become less critical, improving inbox rates even further.
This is an example of a section of a Landing Page that is working well, and gets the message across resulting in exceptionally high inbox rates.

Another simplistic paragraph used successfully by an SR User is positioned just above the Optin Form on her web page –
Please look out for our Welcome Email which will be sent when you submit your details below. Unfortunately, due to over zealous spam filtering software, it may not land in your Inbox first time, if not please open it and label it as “Not SPam” or “Mark as Safe/Important”. Please add our email address (firstname.lastname@example.org) to your Contacts List as that will ensure safe delivery in future.
With just a couple of words changed, that can be used equally well on your Re-Direct Page.
Please look out for our Welcome Email which will be sent momentarily. Unfortunately, due to over zealous spam filtering software, it may not land in your Inbox first time, if not please open it and label it as “Not SPam” or “Mark as Safe/Important”. Then please add our email address (email@example.com) to your Contacts List as that will ensure safe delivery in future.
